FINA/HOSA 10 KM MARATHON SWIMMING WORLD CUP 2017

+

Description

Since 2007, the Traversée has incorporated one additional event in its slate of open water swimming competitions: the men’s and women’s 10km marathon. This competition constitutes a stage in the FINA/HOSA 10 km Marathon Swimming World Cup.

The race lasts about 2 hours. Participants must complete 6 laps of a 1.67 km course that starts and finishes in the Roberval harbour in front of Place de la Traversée. The FINA 10 km Marathon Swimming World Cup races may be summed up in two words: speed and combativeness! One often sees competitors swimming stroke for stroke the entire 2 hour time! The finish of this type of race is just as exciting!
